Celebrating 40 years of TUCSIN

ABOUT US

Upgrading Courses

2024: A group of 14 dedicated teachers serve TUCSIN in full-time or part-time capacity at the Dr-Sandelowsky-Campus in Mont-Blanc-Street Windhoek.

The majority of subjects are taught four hours each week in Grade 11, with Mathematics receiving six hours. Grade 12 (AS-level) students have seven contact hours per week. The TUCSIN approach has helped many diligent students succeed: From ungraded to A, some improve by four, three, or two symbols.

Although TUCSIN is more expensive than other institutions, it does not seek profit. TUCSIN is a non-profit organisation.

Since all courses start in early February of each year, students are required to submit their applications between mid and end of January

  • We offer Complementary Courses (CC) for NSSCO (Grade 11) and NSSCAS (Grade 12 AS- level)
  • TUCSIN offers evening CC-classes for those who are working and would like to improve their grade 11 or 12 results (minimum 10 participants).
  • If necessary, TUCSIN will run an afternoon homework class (minimum 10 participants).
  • We offer Upgrading Courses in the STEM field in cooperation with Cisco.
  • TUCSIN is a test centre for the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) internet-based test (iBT).
  • Career advice is provided by the TUCSIN Career Focus Newsletters.
